the group that it contributes to the
general welfare of society. Sens Group
has taken the initiative to support
those underprivileged and underserved
people in our society as well by vigorously
executing social responsibilities,
The Sens Group shows the society exactly
what the company stands for as they
instil faith in their customers and
make them part of a welfare community.
For the Sens Group,
there is still a long way to go. As
they move higher and higher, they
have not forgotten how they got there.
With God's grace and humility, the

always with a resolve to give back
to society.
Child Sponsorships
The
Company and the Directors personally make
Child Sponsorships very passionately. They
help and support underprivileged children
in rural and suburban areas in sustaining
their primary education and maintaining their
health and nutrition. Apart from education
allowances for the children of our employees
and staff, the Group supports more than 25
deprived children every year.
Donations
We actively and regularly donate
to organizations like CRY- Child Relief and You,
Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity, HelpAge
India, Sai Kripa Orphanage and World Vision. Apart
from donating money for childrens' development,
we also help the organizations with any of their
maintaince needs- for instance refrigerators and
voltage stabilizers were donated for Sai Kripa Orphanage
in Noida. The group annually sponsors one medical
patient bed in Cancer Centre Welfare Home and Research
Institute of Kolkata. Donations are also made on
an as-needed- basis, such as emergency situations,
natural disasters for the PM Relief Fund, Salvation
Army and Red Cross.
Volunteering
through Country Inn & Suites
by Carlson, Haridwar
The
Sens Group religiously does Shram
Daan or "Service Donation"
through Hotel Country Inn &
Suites by Carlson, Haridwar. The
expertise and services of CIS
professionals were donated for
leprocy patients as they assisted
the staff of Shivanand Ashram
to set up their kitchen in a very
efficient manner. We also donated
many equipments needed in their
kitchen.
For Navaratri
2007, volunteers from the Hotel
undertook a 2- day community
cleaning project at Ganga Ghat-
Har ki Pauri near Brahmakund.
A bhandara was also organized
for the nearby villagers, who
ate the Navaratri thali and
Prasad to their heart's content.
Orko's, Kolkata
initiated its first Food Charity Program!
Orko's
Restaurant & Lounge Bar started
its first Food Charity Program as part
of the Corporate Social Responsibility
Program of the Sens Group. , Every month,
Orko's chefs personally prepare delicious
dishes for children in Kolkata and serve
them. We held Children Food Events at
The Medical bank and at The Calcutta
Muslim Orphanage in July- August 2007.
The program continues at varying locations
in Kolkata throughout the year.
Now we understand the true meaning
when they say, "There is no greater
charity than feeding the hungry"…
